Systems Our Systems are custom configured to meet our customers' needs. This allows us to work with our clients to assure they get what they want, and reuse old components or peripherals when possible. All Data Connections systems are built to meet the tough standards of reliability, performance, and compatibility required for our corporate and aerospace customers. One of the leaders in the industry in minimizing down-time, Data Connections systems are used in a wide variety of critical applications in installations around the world including: Novell and Windows NT file servers, high end CAD stations, and one of our customers uses our Pentium computers to drive a $56,000 printer that they manufacture and ship around the world. Areas of Expertise Data Connections specializes in IBM compatible computers (Novell, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups, and Windows 9x networks), peripherals, software, accessories, supplies, and especially customer support, and solving customers' computing issues. In addition, we are an authorized IBM and Hewlett Packard PC dealer, as well as a Novell network and Microsoft dealer; providing our customers with networking products, service, and support. Complete systems and support are available in the areas of networking and desktop publishing. We also have experience with interconnectivity between a PC or a PC network and a mini mainframe computer via asynchronous connections or over a network. We have systems administration experience with many IBM mainframes, RS6000's, and Prime computers, including UNIX, PRIMOS, PICK, and various other operating systems. Training is available in all areas from the introductory level to advanced in the areas of desktop publishing, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows 9x, and introduction to PC usage. Service and Support Data Connections has expertise in repairing all IBM compatible computers (including laptops), and printers (dot matrix, laser, and inkjet), as well as assisting customers in determining what is necessary in their unique circumstance for additional processing power (adding memory, upgrading their motherboard/processor, purchasing a new system, etc.). All of our PCs are covered by a one year, parts and labor, depot service, warranty at our computer service center, one of the largest in the area. On-site service is also available with response times ranging from 24 working hours for our "Silver" and "Gold" Service contracts ("Gold" also includes a free loaner system, if necessary), down to 4 working hours for "Platinum" Service contracts (also with a free loaner system, if necessary). "Gold" and "Platinum" on-site service contracts also include annual on-site routine maintenance. Limited free telephone and email support is also available to our customers in all areas from software and hardware to network administration.
